We're always doing our best to ensure you know everything there is to know about the UB Toner, including how it works, and the risks of any exercise program. Here are some of our more commonly asked questions, and here's hoping they can help you make informed decisions.

Will I develop large muscles when using the UB Toner?
It is highly unlikely. The UB Toner is clinically shown to help create sleek, petite muscles that look firm and toned. Women generally do not develop large muscles unless they use heavy weights.

What are some warning signs I should look out for while exercising?
You should immediately stop exercising if you feel:
  • Unusual pain, such as pain in your left or mid-chest area, left neck, shoulder or arm during or just after exercising.

  • Sudden lightheartedness, cold sweat, pallor or fainting.
  • Severe joint or muscle pain.

Other signs can include headache, dizziness and nausea.

I've had surgery. Should I be using the UB Toner?
You should consult your doctor or health care professional to make sure you're ready for physical activity.

What are the exercises, and how many do I do?

Here are the four exercises, and a short description of each:

Exercise One: Straight Up

Grasp each handle of the UB Toner with your palms facing in. Keep your elbows at shoulder level with your upper arms parallel to the floor, pointing the hinge of the UB Toner straight up. Inhale fully, then as you bring down your elbows, forearms and hands together, squeeze the handle, exhaling at the same time. Your pace for the inward motion should be a count of 3. Once you've completed the inward motion, hold for a 3 count. Then inhale as you bring the handles back for another 3 count.

Level 1: repeat 10 times. Level 2: 20 times. Level 3: 30 times.

Exercise one is designed to work and activate your pectorals and your deltoids -  and has been clinically shown to make a difference in a matter of weeks with use beginning with level 1, three times a week.

Exercise Two: Chest Level

Grasp each handle of the UB Toner™ with palms facing in. With elbows out, hands just under the chest, place the UB Toner hinge pointing away from your body and parallel to the floor. On a 3 count, exhale as you squeeze both hands together. Hold for a 3 count. Inhale as you bring the handles back for another count of 3.

Level 1: repeat 10 times. Level 2: 20 times. Level 3: 30 times.

Exercise two is designed to work and activate your laterals and your upper pectorals - and with use at least three times a week, you'll begin to see a difference in a matter of weeks.

Exercise Three: Reach Out

Grasp each handle of the UB Toner with palms facing in. Bend forward from your waist about 25 to 30 degrees. Maintain posture alignment by pulling navel in towards your spine for lower back stability.  Place elbows at waist level and forearms in front about 6 inches from your waist. The UB Toner should be parallel to the floor with the hinge facing away from your body. On a count of 3, exhale while squeezing elbows, forearms and hands together. Hold for a 3 count. Inhale and bring the handle back for another count of 3.

Level 1: repeat 10 times. Level 2: 20 times. Level 3: 30 times.

Exercise three works your pectorals and biceps, and is designed to show results in weeks, if used with the other exercises at level 1, three times a week.

Exercise Four: Straight Down

Grasp handles and point the UB Toner hinge straight down. Lean forward slightly to align upper body position. Now squeeze your wrists towards each other on a count of 3 as you exhale. Hold for a count of 3. Inhale as you go back to the starting position for another 3 count.

Level 1: repeat 10 times. Level 2: 20 times. Level 3: 30 times.

The forth exercise is designed to work your pectorals and triceps. All four exercises together are designed to maximize your results, and give you the full upper body advantage.
